“A simple toy donation can transform a child’s life in profound ways,” said Salvation Army San Bernardino Citadel Commander Major Isaias Braga.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.—This holiday season, the community is invited to participate in its annual Angel Tree program, which ensures that hundreds of needy children receive a special Christmas gift.

“A simple toy donation can transform a child’s life in profound ways,” said Salvation Army San Bernardino Citadel Commander Major Isaias Braga. “Your support is vital; without it, many children may face a Christmas without gifts.”

Spread Holiday Joy by Fulfilling an Angel's Wish

The Angel Tree program connects generous donors with children from disadvantaged families across San Bernardino County. Here's how you can participate:

  1. Visit the Angel Tree, Located at Inland Center Mall (500 Inland Center Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408).
  2. Choose an Angel: Pick a tag from the tree with a child's name and their Christmas wish list.
  3. Purchase a Gift: Buy the gift listed on the tag, fulfilling the child's wish.
  4. Return to the Angel Tree: Bring the unwrapped gift back to the Angel Tree volunteers.

More Than Just a Gift, a Tradition

The Angel Tree program offers a heartwarming way to share the spirit of Christmas. Shoppers get to keep the Angel's tag as a keepsake, reminding them of the joy they brought to a child.

“This is a wonderful tradition for families,” Major Braga continues. “Selecting a gift together fosters compassion and creates a lasting memory.”
